Michigan Digital is launching a new Member and Event Database for WordPress websites.  The new product is called “Functions” and it is designed to help organizations manage member data and events on their website.  The product will launch as a WordPress plugin this spring and be available for other content management systems this summer.  The plugin will be available for Free for limited use and with  affordable subscription options for typical users. 

“Functions lightens the load for our customers as administration and member access is greatly improved. The user interface is totally separate from the WordPress Admin panel, which for many users is a bit complicated to operate,” said Michigan Digital’s Dave Scott.  The back end actually runs in the cloud outside of the WordPress environment which improves speed, capabilities, and ease of operation.  It also allows any webmaster to use the plugin on any website.

This new product will be on display at the Michigan Governors Conference on Tourism this week at the Grand Traverse Resort.
